A concert of extraordinary folk music from Ireland, Bengal, Assam, and North America, as well as original songs and instrumental pieces inspired by these rich musical traditions.  I'll be singing and playing guitar, banjo and mandolin, and five excellent young singers (Sarah Ajodhi, Amitra Hoq, Jyotsna Karamdas, Sameera Fahmi and Seshank Sekar) will join me in songs from Bengal and Assam.  Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.  Please join us for this unusual concert of folk music from South Asia, northern Europe, and North America.
