The Weaver's Song: Bhajans of North India

Yale University: Henry Luce Hall Auditorium, MacMillan Center, 34 Hillhouse Avenue, New Haven, CT

Dr. Stan Scott, recipient of the 2011 Mumbai Music Circle Award for “Contribution to the Cause of Indian Music by an Overseas-Resident Personality,” will celebrate the release of his CD The Weaver’s Song:  Bhajans of North India in a live concert of North Indian classical and devotional music at Yale University’s Luce Hall Auditorium on Saturday, March 24th, at 6 pm.  Dr. Scott (voice and guitar) will be accompanied by Steve Gorn (bansuri bamboo flute), Nitin Mitta (tabla), Kedar Naphade (harmonium), and the Rangila Chorus.
